Invid.au welcomes br0ken, Horibl and WattsterMatter
Big names. Bigger plans. br0ken, Horibl and WattsterMatter join Invid.au as we gear up for what’s next in OCE esports.
We’d like to officially announce some of the latest additions to the Invid.au team.
We’re extremely excited to have some of the best talent in OCE joining us and helping us build on what we’ve started. Our mission is to provide a professional, structured and fair competitive environment for gamers of all skill levels, giving players across Australia and New Zealand more opportunities to compete, develop and get recognised.
The growth over the last few months has been nothing short of amazing. From players and teams signing up to people putting their hands up to help behind the scenes, the support has shown us just how much interest there is in grassroots esports across OCE.
There’s a clear need for more events, more often, and for those events to run smoothly. As we grow, we want to make sure we have the right people involved and keep the experience for players and teams at the centre of what we do.
With that in mind, we’re pleased to welcome br0ken to our leadership team. He brings a huge amount of experience from his time on staff at LPL, alongside a number of other operational roles.
br0ken is one of the best when it comes to leading large projects and teams. Having his experience involved will help us turn our plans into well-run competitions and build the support needed to keep them going. We’re really excited to have him on board for this next chapter.
Following discussions about the direction of our Counter-Strike offering, Horibl will be taking on leadership of our CS2 division.
Horibl joins us following a long stint at LPL and brings valuable experience in running tournaments and working with the competitive community. He’ll help shape the direction of CS2 at Invid.au, with a focus on high-quality tournaments that work for players and teams.
We’re also excited to welcome WattsterMatter as our Deadlock caster. With over six years of experience and a strong background in the Valorant scene, he’s known for making matches more immersive and engaging for viewers.
Having someone with his experience behind the microphone will help bring our Deadlock competitions to life and give OCE players and teams a chance to be seen. There’s plenty of talent in our region, and we’re looking forward to having WattsterMatter help showcase it.
We’re proud of what everyone involved has helped us build so far. These additions are another step towards giving the ANZ community regular, structured opportunities to compete, whether you’re entering your first tournament with mates or looking to take the next step.
Please join us in welcoming br0ken, Horibl and WattsterMatter to the team. We’re looking forward to getting stuck into what comes next.
