If you do not agree to these Terms, you must not use the Platform.

Your continued use of the Platform constitutes acceptance of any updated Terms.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 13 years old to use the Platform.

If you are under the age of majority in your jurisdiction, you must have permission from a parent or legal guardian.

You are responsible for ensuring that your participation in tournaments or paid competitions is lawful in your jurisdiction.

3. Accounts and Security

You are responsible for:

  • All activity conducted through your account
  • Keeping your account information accurate

You must not:

  • Share accounts
  • Create multiple accounts without approval
  • Circumvent bans
  • Impersonate another person

Invid.au reserves the right to suspend or terminate accounts at its discretion.

4. Use Licence

You are granted a limited, revocable, non-transferable licence to access and use the Platform for personal, non-commercial purposes.

You may not:

  • Reverse engineer or exploit software
  • Automate or scrape data without permission
  • Mirror or replicate the Platform
  • Use the Platform for commercial purposes without written consent

Violation of this licence may result in termination.

5. User Content and Conduct

You are responsible for all content you submit, including:

  • Profiles
  • Team pages
  • Forum posts
  • Match results
  • Media uploads
  • Messages

You agree not to post content that is:

  • Illegal
  • Abusive, threatening, hateful, racist or obscene
  • Harassing or defamatory
  • Infringing on intellectual property rights
  • Containing malware or spam
  • Publishing personal information of others without consent

You grant Invid.au a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free, perpetual licence to use, host, reproduce, adapt, display and distribute your content for purposes of operating and promoting the Platform.

We reserve the right (but not obligation) to remove any content at any time.

6. Community Behaviour and Sportsmanship

Invid.au is a competitive esports community.

All members are expected to:

  • Act respectfully
  • Display good sportsmanship
  • Avoid degrading or attacking other competitors
  • Engage constructively

Harassment of users or staff may result in suspension or permanent removal.

Serious misconduct may be referred to law enforcement.

7. Fair Play and Competitive Integrity

Cheating, exploiting bugs, boosting, account sharing for competitive gain, match fixing, or other unfair conduct is strictly prohibited.

We operate a zero tolerance policy on cheating.

We may:

  • Reverse match results
  • Disqualify teams
  • Forfeit prize money
  • Permanently ban accounts

Administrative decisions are final to protect competitive integrity.

We are not obligated to disclose anti-cheat evidence or methodologies.

8. Anti-Cheat Systems

Where applicable, anti-cheat systems may:

  • Log system and game data
  • Capture screenshots
  • Monitor server activity
  • Record IP addresses

This data is used solely for integrity and moderation purposes.

Invid.au accepts no responsibility for system damage resulting from anti-cheat software.

9. Tournaments, Ladders and Match Rules

Each tournament, ladder or event may include:

  • Entry requirements
  • Scheduling rules
  • Format and scoring rules
  • Dispute procedures

By participating, you agree to follow all published event rules.

Invid.au reserves the right to:

  • Cancel events
  • Modify formats
  • Remove participants
  • Refund entry fees where applicable

Internet stability is the responsibility of the participant.

10. Payments, Fees and Prizes

Some features may involve:

  • Entry fees
  • Paid services
  • Prize pools
  • Account credit systems

Payment processing may be handled by third-party providers.

Prize eligibility is subject to:

  • Event rules
  • Identity verification (if required)
  • Compliance with applicable laws

Refund policies are governed by event rules and Australian Consumer Law.

11. Communications and Marketing

By creating an account, you consent to receiving communications from Invid.au relating to:

  • Platform updates
  • Tournaments and events
  • Feature announcements
  • Community notices

Marketing communications are enabled by default.

You may opt out of marketing emails at any time using unsubscribe links or account settings.

Essential service communications cannot be opted out of.

Serious breaches may result in permanent removal and referral to authorities.

14. Sponsorship and Advertising

Invid.au may display sponsor content.

Abuse or defamation of sponsors may result in account action.

15. Disclaimer

The Platform is provided “as is” and “as available.”

We do not guarantee:

  • Continuous availability
  • Error-free operation
  • Uninterrupted service

Content posted by users does not reflect the views of Invid.au.

16. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Invid.au shall not be liable for:

  • Loss of data
  • Account suspension
  • Match outcomes
  • Loss of profit
  • Indirect or consequential damages

Nothing in these Terms excludes rights under Australian Consumer Law that cannot legally be excluded.

17. Suspension and Termination

We may suspend or terminate accounts that:

  • Violate these Terms
  • Present risk to the community
  • Attempt to undermine integrity

You may request account deletion subject to operational and legal obligations.

18. Changes to These Terms

Continued use of the Platform constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.

19. Governing Law and Jurisdiction

These Terms are governed by the laws of South Australia, Australia.

You agree to exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of South Australia.
