Coven Sweep Interstellar 2–0 in High-Tempo Division Clash

The Coven delivered a commanding 2–0 series victory over Interstellar, combining decisive macro calls with explosive team fighting to close out a fast-paced matchup that showcased both teams’ strengths — and Coven’s superior execution under pressure.

Game One – Coven Pull the Trigger

Game one opened evenly, with both sides trading early skirmishes while Interstellar attempted to scale into the late game. That plan unraveled quickly.

Coven’s Sivir–Lulu backline came online early, supported by relentless engage from Sejuani and Wukong, while Akali quietly built toward a massive mid-game power spike. Interstellar’s composition leaned heavily on Kayle and Caitlyn scaling, but repeated mid-game fights saw Coven consistently win front-to-back engagements.

A pivotal sequence around dragon saw Coven pick up multiple kills, immediately converting that momentum into Baron pressure. From there, they made a ruthless call: group bot, ignore the side lanes, and end.

They executed the same play three times in succession — crashing waves, taking inhibitor, resetting, and repeating — overwhelming Interstellar before their scaling carries could stabilize. Coven closed out Game One in dominant fashion, breaking open the base and finishing without waiting for soul or further objectives.

Game Two – Interstellar Fight Back, but Coven Hold Firm

Interstellar responded in Game Two with a more proactive draft, placing Jar on Syndra and leaning into skirmishing power through Ambessa and Bard. Early on, it paid off.

Well-timed roams and sharp Syndra plays gave Interstellar a kill lead, and strong bot-side control secured early dragons. For a stretch, they dictated the tempo, finding picks and winning small fights while keeping Coven’s engage tools at bay.

But Coven never lost composure.

A massive turning point came at Baron. Interstellar looked poised to secure it uncontested — until Coven’s Orianna landed a clutch Shockwave steal, swinging momentum instantly. What should have been Interstellar’s comeback moment instead became Coven’s gateway back into the game.

From there, Coven tightened the screws.

Zaheen’s frontline presence became overwhelming, soaking damage and forcing Interstellar’s carries into impossible positions. Repeated Public Execution engages and layered crowd control isolated targets one by one, while Orianna and Diana punished every misstep.

Despite Interstellar’s valiant attempts — including standout moments from Wukong Duty and Jar — a few critical positioning errors late in the game proved costly. Coven capitalized immediately, securing Baron pressure and rolling straight through mid to end the series.

Standout Performances

  • Coven’s Orianna was the clear MVP across the series, delivering fight-winning Shockwaves in both games — none bigger than the Baron steal in Game Two.
  • Akali dominated side lanes in Game One, forcing constant responses and opening the map for Coven’s decisive pushes.
  • Zaheen was unkillable in late-game team fights, repeatedly absorbing pressure while Coven’s carries cleaned up behind him.

On Interstellar’s side, Jar’s Syndra provided sparks of brilliance, and Wukong Duty nearly dragged Game Two back with aggressive engages — but Coven’s coordination ultimately proved too much.

Final Result

Coven defeat Interstellar 2–0

A cleaner sweep than the scoreline suggests, Coven showed exceptional shot-calling and confidence, repeatedly choosing when to force fights and when to end outright. Interstellar showed resilience and adaptability, especially in Game Two, but one missed Baron and a handful of late-game catches sealed their fate.
